Please complete the form below. Once your application has been submitted you will receive an email advising if your permit has been approved or denied within 48 to 72 hours. Permits application are only monitored during business hours. Permits submitted during the weekend or holidays will not be reviewed by staff until the next business day.

If your permit has been approved, you will receive an electronic copy of the actual Permit, which you must have available to present to enforcement agencies upon request. Do not take any action until you have received the electronic permit.

Consumer Fireworks Permits

Parkland County’s Fire Permit Bylaw stipulates that consumer fireworks shall only be discharged on the following days:

New Years: 8:00 p.m. December 31 – 1:00 a.m. January 1

Canada Day: 8:00 p.m. – 11:59 p.m. July 1

Labour Day: 8:00 p.m. - 11:59 p.m. on the first Monday of September

Fireworks permit will only be issued fourteen (14) day in advance of the three days listed above.

Display Fireworks Permits

Fireworks permit will only be issued fourteen (14) day in advance of the three days listed above. Display Fireworks Permits are available for application year-round. Application must be made by a federally licensed display fireworks supervisor or pyrotechnician. Additional requirements apply - See Parkland County Fire Permit Bylaw No. 22-2012 for additional detail.
 

Regulations

It is the responsibility of the applicant to:

  • Ensure all discharge of fireworks is completed in accordance with the requirements of Parkland County Fire Permit Bylaw No. 22-2012.
  • Adhere to all permit conditions and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Permits will be denied if the phone number and/or Municipal Address is incorrect.
